You must be 13 or older to use FaceLens. Your birth year, provided when you set up your profile, confirms this. FaceLens is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 13.
Not medical advice. FaceLens provides cosmetic, non-medical skin appearance insights and virtual makeup try-on. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat conditions. Always consult a qualified clinician for medical skin concerns.
Recommendations are general, not personal guarantees. Recommendations are based on general patterns: ingredients and products that have worked well for other users with similar skin concerns. That does not mean any specific product will work for you, or that it is safe for your individual skin, allergies or sensitivities. Always review the full ingredient list yourself and patch-test a new product before regular use.
Allergies and adverse reactions are your responsibility. You are responsible for knowing your own allergies and sensitivities and for researching a product before you buy or use it.
You can create an account with Sign in with Apple or with your email address. When you sign up with email, we send a code to confirm the address is yours. Your birth year is required; sex and ethnicity are optional.
FaceLens applies fair-use limits and uses security information to prevent abuse, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The photos you submit are used to produce your results and are stored privately so you can track your skin in History. They are never sold and never used for ads. Face-tracking for the virtual try-on stays on your device. How we handle your photos and information is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
Product links open the retailer's or brand's own website, which has its own terms and policies.
Some product links may be affiliate links. Where they are, we may earn a commission if you buy; it never changes which products are recommended or their order. Affiliate links are disclosed in the app.
You use FaceLens's suggestions entirely at your own risk and discretion.
By creating an account, you agree that FaceLens, its creators and affiliates are not liable for any damages, harm or loss, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the app or from any product you purchase or use based on its recommendations. This includes any allergic reaction, irritation, injury or other adverse outcome from using a product we recommend or reference, whether purchased through a link in the app or elsewhere.
You can delete your account at any time. One tap in Settings → Privacy → Purge Scan Data & Delete Account erases your account and every photo. This cannot be undone.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
